Does the 30l tank you have installed fit without moving or modding anything to make it fit?

If that filter blocks it will raise your sump pressure, blow out seals and can cause oil not to return to the sump blowing the engine. Get rid of that rubbish. 40 year diesel mechanic.

Another great video I have followed many of your excellent videos in upgrading my D-MAX. It appears that the D-Max is built for a price point, eg Tyres, Alternator, Battery, Suspension all upgraded. This explains why after a day's driving my 400Ah caravan batteries were still not charged thru the 50A DC2DC charger. What is the torque on the alternator pulley ?

Just bought myself one of the recommended OBD2 ones below for TF bt50, mainly wanting trans temps. When I select TCM 1 or 2 I don't get any data. Did you have to do anything else to get the data ? Wondering if because it's the eBay one it doesn't recognise, or maybe the Bt don't have that temp sensor

Great work! Do like the filler location 👌 I managed to fit a Camec 70L tank above the rear axle and even sits above the fuel tank. Trayback though so might be a tad different.

What stopped you from putting 2 of the 40L tanks in &putting the 30L tank in that area?

Have put mine in my 2022 XT bt-50. All works fine but the amber difflock fault light comes on. Will still be able to operate as intended but the light won't go away until you've cycled the ignition. Spoke to titan offroad and they said it's fine, cars getting to smart for their own good. Just chucking the comment in here for anyone else that might be worried 🤙

Do you know if by putting an enerdrive 40a dcdc with any of this batteries would increase the power input when driving ?

Abber tanks based in SE QLD do custom food grade tanks to fit where u want and have the outlets and inlets located better for volume usage.

Im sure you'll cover it in part 2, but where did you source the spare wheel mount from? Did it bolt into existing holes? I've been checking the channel esch day since my last canp trip waiting for the water tank install 👍

I can stress enough by putting your Plastidip and Glossifier in a bucket of hot water for 20 minutes prior to using... Its a huge difference how it comes out smoothly and dries smoothly.

Hey mate, would you suggest to fuse upstream to the switch for the connected accessories? Or downstream of the switch heading towards the light/fridge etc?

Based on your video, I got the OBD2 sensor and kept a close eye on my ATF temps. I also noticed the increase in temp when the torque converter would do it's thing and "flare". On my ute, I have found that running it in Manual mode effectively locks up the torque converter above certain speeds anyway. So when Im towing our camper, I just run it manual and never have any problems with ATF temps now. 5th locks at 80kmh and 6th locks around 100kmh so I just flick between or drop it down to 4th when above 55kmh. Easy. It does take a bit more thinking but I kind of like being engaged in the driving process. One thing I did hear, and this may or may not be true, is that a gearbox will flare more when cold to generate heat and get the ATF up to optimal operating temp. So, don't be in too much of a hurry to lock it up. A bit of heat is a good thing. (if the advice I got was correct, of course)

I have a 4 tyre deflator kit and an ckma12.arb compressor. I tried connecting the arb hose to the tuff terrain gauge to inflate butnit wont fit. Is there an adaptor you used to connect the 2?
